Weekday Morning Prayer

Wednesday Evening Compline

We hope you enjoyed our recent online Compline services and encourage you to continue praying these nighttime prayers in your home. You can access the order of service in the Prayer Book HERE.

OUTREACH:

Community First! Canned Food Collection

Please contribute to our collection of canned goods and shelf stable items for Community First! Village. Easy drop off in our parking garage at the Windsor campus. Just look for the wooden bin close to the atriu​m entry doors. Community First prefers high-protein, high-calorie items. Specific needs for this week: Perishable items (meat and frozen vegetables) dropped off between 8:00am and 9:30am on Wednesday morning. We will have coolers ready to keep them. Also non-perishable items: soup, chicken broth, chips individually packaged, pasta, and spam.

Drive a Senior

Drive a Senior – West has a free emergency food pantry for seniors operating out of a location in Tarrytown. This service is available to any senior living in their service area. A senior in need, MUST call the Drive a Senior office and register for temporary services at 512.472.6339. All 60+ seniors will qualify.
Drive a Senior is accepting food and paper-good donations. For a list of items and instructions on how to drop off donations click HERE.
If you are interested in being a delivery driver, please email the Drive a Senior-West office. Please do not call, as phone lines need to be kept open for seniors in need.

Mobile Loaves & Fishes

Our monthly food truck runs have been retooled to safely address the needs of the homeless in this time of crisis. If you are currently a volunteer scheduled to participate in May, Aimee will contact you to explain the changes.
If you are not now a volunteer and looking for a way to address the needs of the homeless in our community, then this might be an opportunity for you.

Trinity Center

As of now, the Trinity Streets is not holding its Sunday afternoon meal and worship. However, Trinity Center continues to provide a takeout breakfast and is the mailing address for over 1100 homeless. For more information, please email Aimee Bostwick.

Mom’s Bible Study

We will meet virtually on Tuesdays. We are listening to Brene Brown’s weekly podcast, Unlocking Us; please join in at any time if you’ve listened to the podcast or not. Transitions Bible Study

Way of Love Wednesdays
Please note: Way of Love Wednesdays will be taking a formation sabbath the week of May 25, all meetings will resume the week of June 1. Our next WOL Wednesday will take place on June 3. We'll see you then! 

Contemplative Prayer Groups
Wednesday May 27 and Sunday, May 31   |   5:15pm

We will meet virtually on Wednesdays and Sundays. Join us for a 20 minute practice of contemplative prayer. We will begin by check in as people are welcomed into the space followed by a 20 minute sit. Thursday Forum
Thursday, May 28    |    10:00am

The Thursday Forum is a co-ed Bible study that meets virtually each Thursdays at 10am. It is a safe space to both wrestle with the challenging questions raised by the Holy Scriptures and to celebrate the insights, learning and joy that come from reading the Bible in community. Whether you have studied the Bible your whole life or whether you’re just beginning to engage the biblical texts, you will find a warm welcome in this group. Women on the Journey

Women on the Journey is a sacred circle of women who gather to share their wisdom and companionship with one another. All women are welcome to join our circle! Lectionary Reflection Group

One Book, One Parish

During the WORSHIP step in our Way of love journey, we invite you to join a parish-wide reading of Walk in Love: Episcopal Beliefs and Practices by Scott Gunn and Melody Wilson Shobe. Take a journey through The Book of Common Prayer, the Christian life, and basic beliefs of our faith, guided by two Episcopal priests. Walk through the liturgical year, the sacraments of the church, habits of daily prayer, and the teachings of Anglican Christianity. See how our prayer shapes our beliefs and lives, and how our beliefs lead us into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sunday Godly Play Video

Wednesdays   |   5:00pm

Every week our 3rd – 5th graders will gather in the “Edge Lounge” (aka Zoom) for games and a discussion centered on the Way of Love. Please email Elise Jones for the Zoom link.

Children’s Choir
Sundays   |   9:30am

Every week, subscribers to our Youth Choir email will receive an invitation to join us in making a joyous noise on Sunday mornings. It is open to all children that find joy and comfort in singing.
