We're glad you're here.
The Acts of the Apostles describes life in the earliest church: “Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number” (2:46-47). We at Good Shepherd seek to build a Beloved Community in this model, one founded upon friendship and generosity, gratitude and praise. As one community in Christ, we learn together, pray together, and serve together. As God is present to us, we pray that we, also, might be present to one another. This common life we share is a privilege and a responsibility, and, “day by day,” we seek to grow it, not only for our own good, but for the good of the world.
Whether you are returning to church after a time away or are altogether new to the faith; whether you are looking for a new church home or are here every time the doors of Good Shepherd open; we welcome you, and we give thanks to God for you. In this site and upon your visit, may you find where ‘your deep gladness meets the world’s deep need,’ for our lives would be made richer – as would yours – if you would join Good Shepherd and Love More, Better.
