Love Heals Friend Groups
Love heals…but how exactly? Drawing on the work of the Rev. Becca Stevens and her reflections on the practices of love and community, we will share our own stories of healing and explore ways to bring more healing love into our lives and the lives of others.
Friend groups gather three times over the season of lent. Join one of these small groups to gather for refreshments, conversation and for the purpose of growing in friendship and faith.
Choose the group you’d like to join and consider inviting a friend to join you:
- Central Austin Friend Group
hosted at the home of Sue Dockery
Tuesdays at 6:30p on the evenings of March 19, march 26 and April 2
- South-Central Friend Group
hosted at the home of Cindy Zemis-Morris and James Morris
Tuesdays at 6:30p on the evenings of March 12, March 26 and April 9
- Family Friend Group
hosted in the south portable by Kathy Pfister.
Sundays at 9:45a on the mornings of March 10, March 24, April 7 Children and parents will gather for an interactive program exploring individual and family faith practices that help us grow in love. Older children and tweens will be partnered with younger children as “epsico-pals” and nursery will be provided for little biddies.

Lent adult formation at the Hill will expand on the Rev. Becca Steven’s work in Love Heals to explore how that healing can take place through relationships–because “love heals” best in community! Led by The Rev. Deacon Jonathan Hanneman.
Music on the Hill: Soultree Collective

The Soultree Collective was created to encourage today’s youth to explore and engage in classic genre of the 70’s – 90’s R&B. Join us for a funky and fantastic evening of incredible music performed by some of Austin’s most talented new voices.

In Common: learning how to best serve our neighbors with love
Friday evening dinner and keynote, followed by Saturday workshops
Offered by the Episcopal Health Foundation and hosted at our Windsor Campus, In Common helps congregations develop effective strategies and find new resources to build healthier communities, by addressing issues related to health, poverty and diversity.
