Parish Life

The heart of a parish is the Eucharist, but the parish family is the body that makes it a unique and vibrant community with an exciting parish life. Good Shepherd offers a variety of ways to be part of that communal family in addition to the celebration of the sacraments.

Parish Life Groups

(Windsor & Woodland Campuses)
Good Shepherd’s Young Adults Ministry offers a space to meet other young adults exploring their faith and a place to deepen your own faith in community. This is a combined ministry - Windsor and Woodland Campuses - rotates between the two campuses and off-site locations. The Young Adult group meets the second Sunday of each month for a meal, fellowship, and some time for focused conversation about faith and how we live as followers of Christ in today’s world. This group also provides opportunities for young adults to be involved with other programs and ministries at Good Shepherd and in the wider community. Please contact Shannon Preston with questions or to add your name to the email list. Click here to join the Facebook group for updates.

The Front Desk Volunteers commit a few hours a month to greet visitors, answer the phone, and lend a hand with various projects and mail-outs. And we’re always looking for more volunteers to add to the team!

Windsor & Woodland Campuses
The Good Old Boys offer fellowship and service through parish-wide cooking opportunities including the Annual Parish Picnic and other events at both campuses.

The Photography Guild captures moments of every aspect of our shared life together – worship, fellowship, outreach, and more. You do not need to be a professional photographer, you just need a passion for Good Shepherd and a camera.

The Men’s Cooking Teams meet rotationally on Sunday mornings to prepare a host of hearty meal options for our Parish Breakfasts. Participation on a Cooking Team provides an opportunity to meet, know, and serve your parish family by cooking and sharing a meal together.
