Eucharistic Visitors bring communion and prayers to the homebound members of our Good Shepherd family. They offer a pastoral presence once or twice each month to those who cannot come to church or who may need some spiritual companionship.
GUILD OF THE CHRIST CHILD
The Guild of the Christ Child fosters the relationship between the youngest members of Good Shepherd, their families by delivering a gift after the birth of a child.
The Flower Guild breaks down Sunday’s altar flowers on Monday mornings and curates them into several small arrangements which are then delivered to parishioners by Love on the Run volunteers.
LOVE ON THE RUN
Love on the Run serves on Monday mornings by delivering flower arrangements from the Sunday altar to parishioners who are either in the hospital, at home with a new baby, grieving the loss of a loved one, or under long term care.
PARISH CARE COMMITTEE
The Parish Care Committee prepares food and hosts receptions throughout the year.
PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets monthly and through faith, fellowship, and a love for all things creative, experienced and beginner knitters come together to create prayer shawls for those in need of comfort and awareness of God’s presence.
ST. BRIGID'S GUILD
St. Brigid’s Guild prepares delicious meals monthly that are then frozen and later delivered to members of the parish who have had a baby, have recently been hospitalized, or need a little extra support.
WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER GROUP
The Wednesday Morning Prayer Group is a dedicated group of women that comes together weekly in faith to pray for those on our parish prayer list, as well as for those outside the church.
The Wedding Guild assists the marriage couple throughout the planning process, the rehearsal, and the wedding, while celebrating their union and the beginning of their life together at Good Shepherd. Members of the Guild attend the wedding rehearsal and ceremony of a couple, with one member serving as Wedding Host and at least one other member assisting.
