Meeting in the Conference Room at 6:30p, all men are welcome, no prior study is necessary, and popcorn is always provided! For information, contacty the Rev. Kelly Koonce, Priest for Hospitality & Formation.
Young Mother’s Bible Study Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study In addition to our regular educational programming, we also host seasonal classes, small groups, and guilds, further aiding our formation as God’s people.
Meeting in the Choir Room Wednesdays at 9:15a, this lay-led group of women meets weekly to learn more about God’s Word and to support one another in the trials and joys of raising young children. Each “semester” group members choose a new study. New additions to the fellowship are welcome at any time—no reservations required! The coffee is always hot, the conversation is always warm, and, importantly the Nursery is always available! For more information, contact the Study’s convener, Robin Hancock.
A casual fellowship of men gathering at 7:00a Wednesdays, before a day at the office or a morning on the links, the group shares a fresh, hot breakfast prepared by a local chef, and then reads and discusses the scriptures appointed for the upcoming Sunday. Contributions for the breakfast offset costs and any overages benefit parish outreach programs. On the fourth Wednesday of every month, the men gather in the chapel for the celebration of Holy Eucharist, Rite II. The Study is open to all men of the parish and our larger community. For more information, contact William Cromwell.
Women’s Bible Studies The Thursday Morning Bible Study is open to all women. Known for its intergenerational membership, this study has drawn women from not only the Good Shepherd family, but from our neighborhood and beyond. The Nursery will always be available for those women with young children. For more information, please contact Brannon Smith at brannon.smith@sbcglobal.net.
The Friday Morning Bible Study meets in the Bride's Room and also welcomes new members.
