Children
The community of Good Shepherd seeks to make Sunday mornings the bright spot of every child’s week, beginning with the youngest members of our congregation.
Children's Choir
The Children’s Choirs of Good Shepherd welcome all who love music. Our Choirs provide music experiences that tap into the development of the mind, body, and spirit. Younger students work on finding their singing voices through games emphasizing pitch, tempo, and dynamics. Older students further develop their singing voices with emphasis on expressiveness of the music literature, learning to read music notation and learning about our church liturgy. The ability to read or read music is not required for joining! For more information about start dates or for questions, please email Jeane Burks, Coordinator of Children’s Ministries at 476 3523.

Nursery
Our commitment is to make Sunday mornings the bright spot of each child’s week. One of our most important contributions to this begins with our Nursery. Staffed with trained caregivers our Nursery provides warm and inviting spaces for both infants and toddlers. With a 1-4 ratio we provide quality care that allows parents to attend church with peaceful hearts knowing their little ones are in good care. Nursery care is available for Sunday morning and evening services beginning at 8:45 AM and again at 4:45 PM as well as for additional church events or classes throughout the year. The Nursery is located adjacent to the Bride’s Room. Children two-years-old prior to September 1 are invited to attend Preschool Sunday School.
More InfoDay School
Located on our campus, Good Shepherd Episcopal School serves 150 students from Preschool through Kindergarten. Good Shepherd Episcopal School is a school where parents and visitors are ALWAYS welcome. We believe that a quality environment for children is one which invites consistent access and involvement for parents.
