Sunday School and Children’s Chapel

Sunday School (Preschool and Elementary)

Sunday school at Good Shepherd seeks to educate the children and youth about God through Children’s Chapel and teacher-led activities. For preschoolers, Sunday school takes place during the family service for ages 2 through 4. For the K5 class, the children will participate in a Gospel year during the 9am service. For older children (grades 1st through 5th grade), Sunday school takes place following breakfast in the Parish Hall. Participating children are required to be registered by a parent. Classes are taught by members of the parish on a rotating schedule.

Episcopal Family Groups (EFGs)

EFGs gather in groups of approximately 4 families who meet 2 times for a meal and for Bible study. They explore 2 Bible stories and develop a way to present the stories on 2 consecutive Sundays as part of 9:00 family worship service. Activities relating to the stories are also developed and offered in Children’s Chapel.
