Nomination for Rector Search Committee
Terry has served as a worship leader and usher, is a member of the Men’s Bible Study, and is a graduate of Education for Ministry. He is an attorney. Terry has been a member of the parish for more than 30 years and is married to Judy.

Bobby has served Good Shepherd’s youth group by leading Journey to Adulthood and has served on the Outreach Ministries committee. Bobby is a professor at the UT School of Law. He has been a member of the parish for 11 years and is married to Heather.
"In any organization, the most important long-term decisions are hiring decisions. That's especially true when you are hiring for the top position, and probably even more so when we are talking about a rectorship. And it is sure to be fun to spend time getting to know the no-doubt-amazing folks who will be in our pool of candidates. Who wouldn't enjoy the chance to know such interesting people? We'll be listening hard for God's guidance. I'm grateful to be part of that process."
Betsy has served on the Vestry, and as a Verger, Eucharistic Minister, youth confirmation leader, and formation leader. Betsy is the business manager for the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity at UT. She has been a member of the parish for 28 years and is married to Ed.
"It is uplifting to see the vitality and enthusiasm of this parish. I look forward to helping secure the next rector to lead us to our next chapter. The possibilities are endless and I can't wait to see where our next leader will take us."
Mac has served on the Vestry, as a Verger, as a Eucharistic Minister, and on the Strategic Planning committee, the Capital Campaign committee, the 2008-09 Rector Search committee, and the Parish Care committee. She has been a member of the parish for 35 years and is married to William.
"Having worked to develop the strategic plan for the four entities that comprise Good Shepherd, I would like to find the right person that can carry us forward, moving from strength to strength."
Becca has served on the Vestry, the Hillside Early Childhood Center board, the Capital Campaign committee, as an Endowment Foundation trustee, and on the Altar Guild. She is a nonprofit consultant. Becca has been a member of the parish for more than 50 years and is married to Mark.
"I am honored to be serving on the search committee because I love Good Shepherd and welcome the opportunity to give back to our wonderful parish. I look forward to working with the other committee members to identify a new rector who will guide our blessed community as we grow in service to God, to one another, and to our neighbors."
Scott has served on the Vestry, the board of Good Shepherd Episcopal School, as a Verger and Eucharistic Minister, and has chaired Tuesday Morning Outreach. Scott is a small business owner. He has been a member of the parish for more than 55 years and is married to Kelly.

Sarah has served on the Welcome committee, as a Godly Play leader, and on the Family Ministry guild. Sarah is an architect. She has been a member of the parish for 11 years and is married to Matt.
"I look forward to forming deeper relationships with my fellow committee members and ultimately finding the next “right fit” for our church community."
Lisa has served on the Vestry, the Strategic Planning committee, the Women’s Retreat design team, as The Hill’s facilities coordinator, and in outreach ministries at The Hill. Lisa is a retired attorney. She has been a member at The Hill for three years and is married to Christy.
"I am excited about the challenge of finding a rector who will lead us in our mission to continue and expand what we already value: meaningful worship, deeper connection with each other, and service to our neighbors."
Brad has served as a Eucharistic Minister, on the men’s cooking team, and as a delegate to Diocesan Council. Brad is a financial advisor. He has been a member of the parish for eight years and is married to Liz.
"Helping to find the rector that will guide Good Shepherd into this new stage is very exciting. I am grateful to be a part of the team that gets to figure out who this is."
Thomas has served on the Stewardship committee, and on the boards of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and of Austin Achieve Public Schools. He is an attorney. Thomas as been a member of the parish for 10 years and is married to Sarah.
"I'm excited for the opportunity to work with a broad cross-section of the church to find the next leader for one of the most dynamic parishes in the country."
Sarah has served the Trinity Streets, Meals on Wheels, and Mobile Loaves & Fishes ministries; on the Capital Campaign committee, Welcome committee, new baby ministry, and the Adult Formation committee; and as a Christian formation leader. She is an attorney. Sarah has been a member of the parish for 17 years and is married to Paul.
"I have loved this community for most of my adult life and I am excited to help find our next leader and fellow traveler on our spiritual journey."
Becky has served on the Vestry, as Junior and Senior Warden, as coordinator of the Mobile Loaves & Fishes ministry, as Outreach Committee chair, and as a Christian formation leader. She is a knowledge manager at Deloitte. Becky has been a member of the parish for 13 years and is married to Phil.
"Our parish is a vibrant, growing, and deeply rooted community. I am excited to be part of a rector search team that will combine hard work and diligence with the power of The Holy Spirit to lead us to welcome our next rector."
Boots has served as Junior Warden and on the Vestry, the Capital Campaign committee, the Finance committee, the Safety committee, and the Columbarium committee. He is a gastroenterologist. Boots has been a member of the parish for more than 20 years and is married to Pam.
"Pam and I have seen the enthusiasm, participation, and involvement from all age groups steadily grow over past 10 years. I want to help in anyway I can to continue, and even potentially improve, the wonderful thing we have going at Good Shepherd."
