Update from the Reopening Committee – 8/14

In June, the Episcopal Diocese of Texas changed its policy to allow each parish the discretion to decide when to resume in-person worship and programming. (Previously, the Diocese took a more active role in determining when parishes could gather in person.) In response to this change, the Good Shepherd vestry formed a small group to advise it on the timing of re-gathering. This Reopening Committee meets weekly to consider when conditions would allow for a safe return to in-person worship.

The committee is continuing to monitor conditions so that the parish will be ready to reopen when it can safely do so.
