Join The Good Shepherd

We are happy you have chosen to take the next step and officially join The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.

All who enter our doors are welcome to become members of this parish. There are a few ways for you to join: Baptism, Confirmation or through a Letter of Transfer.

If you are coming from a tradition other than the Episcopal Church (or you are new to church altogether), please complete the membership form below, indicating that you would like to join the church as a non-confirmed member. We hope that as your faith journey continues, you will consider a path towards Confirmation down the road. If at any time you would like to speak with a member of the Clergy to further discuss any aspect of joining the Episcopal Church, please contact us.

Baptism is considered as the foundation of a Christian life. Throughout the year, Baptisms are held on special Sundays according to the Liturgical calendar. Baptisms are held at the 10:00a worship service and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and are able to accommodate 4-5 families on Baptism Sundays. At this time, our Clergy do not perform any private Baptisms. If you would like to be baptized, or you’d like to schedule a baptism for your child, please visit our Baptism page.

Confirmation, Reception, Reaffirmation

Confirmation represents a mature commitment to Christ and to the Episcopal faith. Reception is for those adults who have been confirmed as members of the one holy catholic and apostolic church. And reaffirmation is for those adults who have been confirmed in the Episcopal church, but have experienced a renewal of faith or desire to renew their Christian commitment and baptismal vows. Confirmation, Reception and Reaffirmation all involve participating in either a Dedicate Retreat or by attending our ___________ classes on Sunday mornings, each being held twice a year.

Confirmation Sundays are held during the Bishop’s visits, typically twice a year. To learn more about upcoming Confirmation Sundays, please visit the Confirmation page. <-- not finding this page
