The columbarium and garth at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd are sacred spaces. The columbarium provides a place for parishioners to remember and honor loved ones, and it is especially meaningful that this place is on the campus of our parish. The parish is renovating and expanding the columbarium to ensure that the columbarium is structurally sound and to provide an updated space that is in keeping with the recent renovations to the parish’s Windsor Road campus. The plans will more than double the number of niches available in the columbarium. In addition, the plans include a cistern where cremated remains may be interred. Renovations are currently underway and the parish anticipates that the project will be completed in the fall of 2020.
