March with Austin Episcopalians in Pride Parade

Austin Pride is Saturday, August 20, and the area Episcopal churches will be marching in the parade that evening.

We’ll gather at St. David’s Episcopal Church downtown (park for free in the St. David’s parking garage) for a Eucharist at 6:30p, and then walk to E. 15th and San Jacinto to find our float – The Tiny Chapel – for the parade.

If you can’t join for Eucharist, check in at the welcome tent on E. 15th and San Jacinto at 7:30p because the parade starts at 8:00p. We’ll have water on hand but please dress for the weather and the celebration.

This year, unlike in years past, we’ve paid for the “Best” spot in the parade and will be near the front of the line!

We think you can reasonably expect to be done with the parade by 10:00p.
