DESCRIPTION:Education Hour is what we call our “Sunday School” or “Formation” classes. Formation means “an act of giving shape to something.” We are shaped into followers of Jesus in lots of ways: through scripture\, prayer\, worship\, friendship\, and care for our neighbors\, among other things. Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II\, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live\, acoustic band\, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Hill worship also includes a brief children’s sermon\, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion. \nNursery care available.
