DESCRIPTION:Join Good Shepherd at Esperanza Community — A Day of Service & Celebration on Saturday\, October 4\, 2025\, located at 760 Bastrop Hwy SB\, Austin\, TX 78741 \nDriven by a mission to invite our unhoused neighbors into an engaged community\, The Other Ones Foundation (TOOF) has been offering humanitarian aid\, case management\, and extremely low-barrier employment opportunities to people experiencing homelessness since 2018. \nOn October 4\, Good Shepherd will partner with TOOF to help build decks at Esperanza Community\, a supportive housing complex made up of four neighborhoods. Thanks to your generosity\, Good Shepherd has raised nearly $400\,000 to fund 50 completed tiny homes—and now we’ll be breaking ground on a brand-new neighborhood! RSVP requested so our cooks can prepare enough food for everyone. \nSign up here to help build the deck or cook and serve lunch.
