DESCRIPTION:Join us at The Hill as we honor and remember our deceased loved ones and ancestors by contributing photos and mementos to the All Souls’ Ofrenda Table. From Oct. 12 through Nov. 2\, we’ll share in this beautiful tradition that celebrates God’s faithful presence in the lives of all the saints. Throughout the month\, Hillside students will create special offerings including flowers\, bread\, and sugar skulls to adorn the table in preparation for All Saints’ Day. All are welcome to participate in this meaningful time of remembrance and community.

DESCRIPTION:We will commemorate All Souls’ Day on Sunday\, November 9. That day’s worship services will include a reading of the necrology\, the names of those in this parish family who have died. In addition\, a musical setting of the Requiem will be presented by the Good Shepherd Choir and Orchestra during the 10:30a service in the Windsor church building on Sunday\, November 9.

DESCRIPTION:Nearing the end of his life\, Paul writes three letters (I and II Timothy\,Titus) to the faithful in hopes of securing the gospel truth for the next generation. Like a “last will and testament\,” Paul calls for the Church to be “the pillar and foundation of the truth.” Covering a range of topics in the life of the local church\, the relevance of these letters prompt us to re-examine the gospel and tradition we have inherited. Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II\, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live\, acoustic band\, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Hill worship also includes a brief children’s sermon\, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion. \nNursery care available.
