DESCRIPTION:Looking for an intriguing theological and spiritual discussion?\nJoin us each Sunday at 9:15a for our adult education class at the Hill campus. The Hill is located at 1700 Woodland Avenue.\nThese discussions provide an opportunity to explore the deeper questions of our faith. All are welcome to attend.  \nThe group will begin reading With Head and With Heart: The Autobiography of Howard Thurman. Thurman was an American author\, minister\, philosopher\, civil rights leader\, and educator whose vitality and vision touched the lives of countless people of all races\, faiths\, and cultures. He mentored to several leaders of the Civil Rights movement including\, the Rev’d Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. \nWe regularly have a snack or light breakfast each week as we “chew” on our study.\nIf you would like to bring a snack\, breakfast item\, or lead our class\, please contact Will Jones.

DESCRIPTION:Whether you are new to the Episcopal tradition or a longtime Episcopalian\, our three-part Episcopal 101 classes are a great way to learn about our Anglican roots.\nLed by our Good Shepherd clergy\, these classes will introduce Episcopal Church history and theology\, The Book of Common Prayer\, and liturgy in the Episcopal tradition.\n\n\n\nThe classes take place at the Windsor Campus’ administration building\, 2nd floor lounge\, conference room for three consecutive Sundays: February 11\, February 18\, & February 25.\n\n\n\nFor adults interested in Confirmation\, this series will lay the basis for a further commitment.\nTo register please contact Kathy Jolink.
