SUMMARY:Community First! Village: Move-Ins
DESCRIPTION:Join us to help Community First! Village set up new houses for our unhoused neighbors. Volunteers assemble furniture\, stock pantries\, hang pictures\, and clean and stock linens. We also have an opportunity to tour the Village after our shift. Good Shepherd parishioners volunteer the 3rd Saturday of each month. We need 12 volunteers total\, 6 for each house. Kids are encouraged to join in.\n\nClick HERE to sign up! \n\n\nWe check in at the Welcome Center (big red building across from the main CFV campus – take a left off of Hog Eye Road) and are guided to one of the new homes to clean and furnish for unhoused neighbors. SUMMARY:Mom's Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:We gather in person to support one another in the trials and joys of motherhood.\nWe hold space to meet weekly and explore together mini-sabbaths and bite-size spiritual practices when there is seemingly never enough time in the day for ourselves. The group is comprised of moms of all ages\, with a particular emphasis on those with small children at home. Nursery care is provided. New members are welcome to join us at any time. SUMMARY:Community First! Village: Move-Ins
DESCRIPTION:Join us to help Community First! Village set up new houses for our unhoused neighbors. Volunteers assemble furniture\, stock pantries\, hang pictures\, and clean and stock linens. We also have an opportunity to tour the Village after our shift. Good Shepherd parishioners volunteer the 3rd Saturday of each month. We need 12 volunteers total\, 6 for each house. Kids are encouraged to join in.\n\nClick HERE to sign up! \n\n\nWe check in at the Welcome Center (big red building across from the main CFV campus – take a left off of Hog Eye Road) and are guided to one of the new homes to clean and furnish for unhoused neighbors.
