Coffee Hour Conversation
Coffee Hour Conversation:
Celebrating Passover in the Wilderness
Sunday, September 6 | following online worship
This Sunday in our worship, we’ll hear the story from Exodus of the first Passover meal. The biblical account of Passover – a powerful story of redemption and deliverance – is a foundational narrative for the Jewish people, and the Passover meal, or seder, is one of the most sacred and widely celebrated rituals in Judaism.
This Sunday we’ll welcome Rabbi Kelly Levy from Congregation Beth Israel in North Austin as our Coffee Hour Guest. Rabbi Levy will bring us deeper into the riches of this ancient feast and explore the timely question confronting all faithful people: how do we celebrate cherished communal rituals at a time of social distancing? Inter-faith dialogue has proven to be a transformative part of our formation at Good Shepherd, so we hope you’ll join us for what is sure to be an enlightening conversation.
