SUMMARY:Conversations with Parents\, Youth & Children
DESCRIPTION:The Hill Country flooding and tragic loss of life has impacted so many families and children in our parish\, and we are planning times to help children and parents process these events. Tuesday\, June 8\, we will gather for a simple dinner at 6:00p in the Parish Life Center on the Windsor campus. From 6:30p to 7:30p\, we will offer three group conversations: a group for elementary age children (ages 8 to 12); a group for youth (ages 13-19); and a group for parents and caregivers. Childcare will be available for young children (ages 7 and younger). You’re welcome to join us for the groups\, even if you can’t be there for dinner. \nOur goal is to provide a theological framework and mental health tools for processing these difficult events. These groups will be facilitated by mental health professionals and clergy.

DESCRIPTION:Our second campus’ Sunday worship follows a slightly less-traditional Episcopal liturgy\, in a comfortable setting. Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II\, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live\, acoustic band\, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Hill worship also includes a brief children’s sermon\, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion. \nNursery care available.

DESCRIPTION:Our second campus’ Sunday worship follows a slightly less-traditional Episcopal liturgy\, in a comfortable setting. Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II\, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live\, acoustic band\, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Hill worship also includes a brief children’s sermon\, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion. \nNursery care available.

DESCRIPTION:Shepherd and Edge Camp takes place Monday\, June 23—Friday\, June 29\, 9:00a—12:00p on the Windsor Campus. \nEach summer our Windsor campus hosts a week-long Shepherd Camp (vacation bible school). Each camper’s day begins with worship\, lively music and a program\, before rotations by groups through a variety of theme-based activities. We rely on the creativity and energy of our adult and youth volunteers. \nShepherd and Edge Camp wouldn’t be possible without the creativity and energy of our adult and youth volunteers! We encourage volunteers to sign up early so we can better assess how many campers we can accommodate this year.\n†Nursery care is available for volunteers with children under three years. \nWith any additional questions please contact Caroline Goehring and Meredith Spears.

DESCRIPTION:This quiet\, reflective service takes time to pray specifically for those whose names appear on our prayer lists – those who suffer in any way\, our expectant mothers and newborn babies and their families\, those who have died\, and those serving in the armed forces. Anointing of the sick is offered to those who so desire\, and the liturgy concludes with Holy Communion. \nWednesdays at 5:30p in the chapel on the Windsor campus.
