SUMMARY:Community First! Village: Move-Ins
DESCRIPTION:Join us to help Community First! Village set up new houses for our unhoused neighbors. Volunteers assemble furniture\, stock pantries\, hang pictures\, and clean and stock linens. We also have an opportunity to tour the Village after our shift. Good Shepherd parishioners volunteer the 3rd Saturday of each month. We need 12 volunteers total\, 6 for each house. Kids are encouraged to join in.\n\nClick HERE to sign up! \n\n\nWe check in at the Welcome Center (big red building across from the main CFV campus – take a left off of Hog Eye Road) and are guided to one of the new homes to clean and furnish for unhoused neighbors. Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II\, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live\, acoustic band\, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Hill worship also includes a brief children’s sermon\, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion. \nNursery care available.

Shepherd and Edge Camp are only possible through the creativity\, care\, and energy of adult and youth volunteers. We encourage volunteers to sign up as soon as possible so we can plan well. Nursery care is available for volunteers with children not yet old enough for Shepherd Camp. SUMMARY:Healing Service
DESCRIPTION:This quiet\, reflective service takes time to pray specifically for those whose names appear on our prayer lists – those who suffer in any way\, our expectant mothers and newborn babies and their families\, those who have died\, and those serving in the armed forces. Anointing of the sick is offered to those who so desire\, and the liturgy concludes with Holy Communion. \nWednesdays at 5:30p in the chapel on the Windsor campus.

SUMMARY:Good Shepherd's 20s and 30s Bible Study: 1-2 Corinthians
DESCRIPTION:Join young adults in the Hill’s parish hall (1700 Woodland Ave) for a drop-in study on Paul’s letters to the Church in Corinth. No preparation needed – just bring yourself (and your favorite Bible if you have one). Cookies and drinks will be provided.
