DESCRIPTION:Join us to help Community First! Village set up new houses for our unhoused neighbors.\nVolunteers assemble furniture\, stock pantries\, hang pictures\, and clean and stock linens.\nWe also have an opportunity to tour the Village after our shift.\nGood Shepherd parishioners volunteer the 3rd Saturday of each month.\nWe need 12 volunteers total\, 6 for each house. Village (9301 Hog Eye Rd Suite 950\, Austin\, TX 78724) at the Front Porch building across from the large parking lot on the first right turn after you come into the community and we will be guided to one of the new homes to clean and furnish for unhoused neighbors. \nCF!V is a 51-acre community that provides affordable\, permanent housing and a supportive community for people coming out of chronic homelessness.\n\nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:On Martin Luther King Jr. weekend\, we celebrate King’s legacy of the beloved community by engaging with the many cultures and languages used by the people of God in the Episcopal church. And we rejoice that\, through repentance\, reconciliation\, and relationship\, we may all experience the abundant love of Christ’s kingdom. This year at the Hill (1700 Woodland Ave)\, our service is a trilingual one and we will experience our tradition in American Sign Language\, English\, and Spanish.
