Village set up new houses for our unhoused neighbors.\nVolunteers assemble furniture\, stock pantries\, hang pictures\, and clean and stock linens.\nWe also have an opportunity to tour the Village after our shift.\nGood Shepherd parishioners volunteer the 3rd Saturday of each month.\nWe need 12 volunteers total\, 6 for each house. DESCRIPTION:“And God said…”\, a bible study connecting the Old and New Testaments will meet on Sunday mornings beginning June 16. \nThree words in the Book of Genesis – And God said… – set the entire Judeo-Christian story in motion. The Old Testament is the “operating system” for the New Testament. Without the calling of Israel\, the story of Jesus has no context. Without the Law and the Prophets\, the New Testament has no foundation in which to build the Church.
