DESCRIPTION:Join us to help Community First! Village set up new houses for our unhoused neighbors.\nVolunteers assemble furniture\, stock pantries\, hang pictures\, and clean and stock linens.\nWe also have an opportunity to tour the Village after our shift.\nGood Shepherd parishioners volunteer the 3rd Saturday of each month.\nWe need 12 volunteers total\, 6 for each house. DESCRIPTION:Our second campus’ Sunday worship follows a slightly less-traditional Episcopal liturgy\, in a comfortable setting. Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II\, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live\, acoustic band\, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Hill worship also includes a brief children’s sermon\, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion. \nNursery care available.

The Hill is located at 1700 Woodland Avenue.\nThese discussions provide an opportunity to explore the deeper questions of our faith. All are welcome to attend.  \nThe group will begin reading With Head and With Heart: The Autobiography of Howard Thurman. Thurman was an American author\, minister\, philosopher\, civil rights leader\, and educator whose vitality and vision touched the lives of countless people of all races\, faiths\, and cultures. He mentored to several leaders of the Civil Rights movement including\, the Rev’d Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. \nWe regularly have a snack or light breakfast each week as we “chew” on our study.\nIf you would like to bring a snack\, breakfast item\, or lead our class\, please contact Will Jones.

DESCRIPTION:Our second campus’ Sunday worship follows a slightly less-traditional Episcopal liturgy\, in a comfortable setting. Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II\, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live\, acoustic band\, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Hill worship also includes a brief children’s sermon\, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion. \nNursery care available.

DESCRIPTION:This quiet\, reflective service takes time to pray specifically for those whose names appear on our prayer lists – those who suffer in any way\, our expectant mothers and newborn babies and their families\, those who have died\, and those serving in the armed forces. Anointing of the sick is offered to those who so desire\, and the liturgy concludes with Holy Communion. \nWednesdays at 5:30p in the chapel on the Windsor campus.
