Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II\, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live\, acoustic band\, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Hill worship also includes a brief children’s sermon\, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion. \nNursery care available.

SUMMARY:St. Brigid’s Guild Cook Day
DESCRIPTION:The St. Brigid’s Guild prepares frozen meal items on a regular basis for anyone in need\, helps when called upon with meal preparation for parish activities and outreach\, and is continually expanding the cooking knowledge of its members. \nSt. Brigid’s Guild Cook day is on the third Friday of every month in the PLC kitchen.\nWe are always looking for new guild members!\nIf you are interested in joining\, a food handler’s license is required. \nFor more information or to join the guild\, please email Louise Brown or call at 512 994 5800.

DESCRIPTION:Looking for an intriguing theological and spiritual discussion?\nJoin us each Sunday at 9:15a for our adult education class at the Hill campus. The Hill is located at 1700 Woodland Avenue.\nThese discussions provide an opportunity to explore the deeper questions of our faith. All are welcome to attend.  \nThe group will begin reading With Head and With Heart: The Autobiography of Howard Thurman. Thurman was an American author\, minister\, philosopher\, civil rights leader\, and educator whose vitality and vision touched the lives of countless people of all races\, faiths\, and cultures. He mentored to several leaders of the Civil Rights movement including\, the Rev’d Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. \nWe regularly have a snack or light breakfast each week as we “chew” on our study.\nIf you would like to bring a snack\, breakfast item\, or lead our class\, please contact Will Jones.

DESCRIPTION:Godly Play is a creative\, imaginative approach to christian formation and spiritual guidance for children 3 years old (potty trained) through 2nd grade. Every Sunday children gather in our Education Center to learn about the Bible and explore God’s expansive presence and unconditional love for them. SUMMARY:Holy Eucharist with an Acoustic Band: The Hill
DESCRIPTION:Our second campus’ Sunday worship follows a slightly less-traditional Episcopal liturgy\, in a comfortable setting. Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II\, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live\, acoustic band\, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Hill worship also includes a brief children’s sermon\, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion. \nNursery care available.
