DESCRIPTION:Our second campus’ Sunday worship follows a slightly less-traditional Episcopal liturgy\, in a comfortable setting. Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II\, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live\, acoustic band\, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Hill worship also includes a brief children’s sermon\, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion. \nNursery care available.

DESCRIPTION:From the beginning of time\, the Spirit of God has been present and active in the world (Genesis 1:2). In the New Testament\, the primary attention upon the presence and power of the Holy Spirit is in the life of Jesus and then through him in the lives of all his followers. The Book of Acts\, which we read on Sundays in the season of Easter\, gives accounts of how the Spirit empowers the early Church. Primarily\, the Spirit acts in three ways: evangelism\, preaching and teaching the word of God\, and the healing ministry. We will look at texts from Acts in these three ways the Holy Spirit has directed the mission of the church\, and save time at the end of class to share our own experiences of the Holy Spirit.  \nEveryone is welcome! SUMMARY:Holy Eucharist with an Acoustic Band: The Hill
DESCRIPTION:Our second campus’ Sunday worship follows a slightly less-traditional Episcopal liturgy\, in a comfortable setting. Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II\, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live\, acoustic band\, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Hill worship also includes a brief children’s sermon\, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion. \nNursery care available.

SUMMARY:The Holy Spirit in the Church and the World
DESCRIPTION:From the beginning of time\, the Spirit of God has been present and active in the world (Genesis 1:2). In the New Testament\, the primary attention upon the presence and power of the Holy Spirit is in the life of Jesus and then through him in the lives of all his followers. The Book of Acts\, which we read on Sundays in the season of Easter\, gives accounts of how the Spirit empowers the early Church. Primarily\, the Spirit acts in three ways: evangelism\, preaching and teaching the word of God\, and the healing ministry. We will look at texts from Acts in these three ways the Holy Spirit has directed the mission of the church\, and save time at the end of class to share our own experiences of the Holy Spirit.  \nEveryone is welcome!
