DESCRIPTION:Education for Ministry (EfM)\, based at the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee\, Tennessee\, is a small-group formation program grounded in study and theological reflection. \nSince 1975\, this international program has served more than 120\,000 participants\, helping them discern and live out their call to Christian service in everyday life. \nEfM: Classic uses a multi-media approach supported by textbooks and weekly assignments. Participants in EfM: Classic progress sequentially through four years of study: Year 1\, Old Testament; Year 2\, New Testament; Year 3\, Church History and Year 4\, Ethics and Spirituality. \nEfM: Wide Angle is a one-year introduction to the program’s formation approach. It can be taken before beginning EfM: Classic\, between years of study\, or after completing the program\, offering a flexible way to begin\, return to\, or deepen one’s EfM journey.  It runs concurrent with EfM: Classic. \n\n\nContact: Bill Davies
