DESCRIPTION:Join Good Shepherd at Esperanza Community — A Day of Service & Celebration on Saturday\, October 4\, 2025\, located at 760 Bastrop Hwy SB\, Austin\, TX 78741 \nDriven by a mission to invite our unhoused neighbors into an engaged community\, The Other Ones Foundation (TOOF) has been offering humanitarian aid\, case management\, and extremely low-barrier employment opportunities to people experiencing homelessness since 2018. \nOn October 4\, Good Shepherd will partner with TOOF to help build decks at Esperanza Community\, a supportive housing complex made up of four neighborhoods. Thanks to your generosity\, Good Shepherd has raised nearly $400\,000 to fund 50 completed tiny homes—and now we’ll be breaking ground on a brand-new neighborhood! RSVP requested so our cooks can prepare enough food for everyone. \nSign up here to help build the deck or cook and serve lunch.

DESCRIPTION:Join Good Shepherd on the Hill/Hillside Early Childhood Center and the Austin community in supporting the National Alliance on Mental Illness – Central Texas by walking a 5K with our team and/or making a financial contribution. Together\, we can contribute to better mental health in the greater Austin area. Parking is available at the beginning of the route at the Long Center\, 701 W. Riverside Drive.
