The Hill Main

The Hill, located on our Woodland campus at 1700 Woodland Avenue, is a spiritual resource given freely to the people of Austin. We gather as a worshipping community on Sundays and seek to stretch beyond ourselves to make a difference in our community and our world.

The Hill is a campus of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. We are worshipping community, The Park at Love Hill, the Hillside Early Childhood Center and a year-round calendar of opportunities to connect and serve.

The Hill provides two things: a new perspective and a challenge. After all, to get to higher ground, you have to climb a little! Building respectful, authentic, caring community is our work. And it’s the kind of work that can change the world. Join us for worship, for a moment of peace or for one of the many events hosted on the Woodland campus. We look forward to knowing you.

Sundays  |  10:30a
Please join us for Holy Communion with music every Sunday at 10:30a. A liturgically rich traditional service with a relaxed feel and traditional songs played with a contemporary feel. The Rev. Laurence Wainwright-Maks, is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), and members of the Deaf community frequently attend and participate fully in worship. Our service includes a children’s sermon. All are welcome and invited.
