Indoors and outdoors, The Hill is a sanctuary for our southeast Austin community. We welcome you to explore all The Hill has to offer and to find a renewed sense of rootedness and belonging.

Good Shepherd on the Hill
The Hill is a campus of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. We offer a traditional, yet vibrant worship service Sundays at 10:30a. Music is important to us, and our live, acoustic band and pick-up Choir bring energy and joy to our service.

The Park at Love Hill
Nestled under the giant “Love” letters that illuminate the hill at night, The Park at Love Hill is a park for the whole neighborhood. On-site and street parking make access easy. Amenities include a gentle path for walking and meditating, disc golf, picnic benches for prayer or family picnics and a fantastic view of the downtown skyline. The park is open sun-up to sun-down seven days a week.

Hillside Early Childhood Center
A ministry of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Hillside Early Childhood Center delivers an excellent, full-day, year-round developmental program that fosters healthy bodies, joyful hearts, curious minds, and engaged families, in an inclusive and innovative Episcopal community. Learn more.

Opportunity Gardens
Opportunity Gardens at Woodland create an opportunity to put down roots, both physically and figuratively, in the neighborhood. Here we grow the ingredients necessary for communication, self-reliance, mutual respect, tolerance, caring and food security. If you’d like to be a part of creating and sustaining an authentic community through gardening, contact the Rev. Laurence Wainwright-Maks
