SUNDAY FORMATION OFFERINGS
LECTIONARY REFLECTION GROUP
Sundays | 9:00a
Join us on Sunday mornings for a virtual study and reflection on the readings for our worship appointed for that Sunday. Experience Sunday worship in a new way as you learn from your fellow parishioners and deepen your understanding of the scriptures appointed for worship. For more information and for a link to join, please contact Carol Pierce-Davis.
LECTIONARY REFLECTION AT THE HILL
Sundays | 9:00a
Parish Hall, The Hill
We will dive into our Sunday readings each week before the Sunday service so that we can hear the texts more deeply. While we chew on the Word we will also enjoy something small to eat. We hope that you’ll join us. For information, please contact the Rev. Laurence Wainwright-Maks.
WHY WE WORSHIP
Sundays | immediately after the 10:30a services
Allen Hall, Windsor Campus
Join the Rev. Terry Gleeson to discuss how and why we worship. Many of our liturgical practices go back centuries in the Christian tradition, and many have even older roots in Judaism and other traditions. We will discuss how these practices came to be and how they help us experience God and draw us closer to each other. This offering begins on Sunday, September 25. For information, please contact the Rev. Terry Gleeson.
CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER GROUP
Sundays | 5:15p
Contemplative prayer, a form of Christian meditation, aims to open practitioners to the presence of God who dwells with us always. The tone of this prayer is peace, stillness, and quiet. Contemplative prayer seeks a personal encounter with God through silence and is powerful when practiced with others. We meet virtually and welcome all, regardless of previous experience in silent prayer or contemplative practices. For information or a link to join, please contact D’Arcy Randall.
