Shepherd + Edge Camp
Good Shepherd offers Shepherd Camp and Edge Camp, our version of VBS, the fourth week of every June. Parish leaders design this experience with great intention to fully immerse our young parishioners in the stories of their faith and the community of their church.

Where & When
June 22 - 26
(Windsor Campus)
Registration is open for the 2020 Shepherd + Edge Camp: Creation Care.
This year’s camp will explore what we can do to live in harmony with and help protect all of God’s creation.
Campers will experience music and song, visual art and media, and drama and storytelling as a way to enter into Bible study surrounding the question, “What does God want of us when it comes to our care of creation?”
In order to make this the best camp experience ever, we need many volunteers!
We ask all parents of the registered campers to think of how you can serve our children during this special week. Volunteers are needed in hospitality, decor, 5-day leaders, playground duty and with a service project.
Childcare is available for full-day volunteers who have children younger than 3. We also offer an after camp option until 4pm for all 5-day volunteers.
Questions, please contact Elise Jones, Children's & Family Minister.

Camp Offerings
SHEPHERD CAMP
Age 3 - Rising 3rd Grade
Our Windsor Campus hosts Shepherd Camp where the whole camp begins each day together with worship music and program, before dispersing into their different age groups for participation in a variety of theme-based activities. The full camp then convenes and closes in plenary, as well.
EDGE CAMP
Rising 4th - Rising 6th Grades
While Edge Camp begins with the whole camp on our Windsor Campus, Edge participants leave the campus each day to participate in team-building and outreach-focused activities, around Austin. Edge Camp nurtures the whole child in safe, engaging, and age-appropriate settings.
YOUTH VOLUNTEERS
Rising 7th - 12th Grades
Youth interested in volunteering should email Emily Shelton.
