Advent Quiet Day
December 10, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 1:00 pm
Quiet days are times to enjoy quiet and stillness away from the demands of daily life. Let this mini-retreat give you structure and space for nurturing your spiritual self, similar to the way you take care of other areas of your life. Elizabeth Ann Gates will lead participants through guided reflections, and the morning will conclude with a light lunch. We will gather at 9:30a–1:00p at The Hill.

About the Advent Quiet Day facilitator:
Having enjoyed a rich and varied career, Elizabeth Ann uses her own faith journey, education, experiences, curiosity, and gifts to design and facilitate discussions and retreats that help people pay attention to what matters. In this Advent Quiet Day, she will weave her love of language and literature, questions and discussions, to spark participants’ spiritual imaginations. She is a skilled facilitator and careful listener for whom part of her spiritual journey is to engage with others on theirs.
Elizabeth Ann earned a M.Ed. from University of Houston and a M.A.R. from Seminary of the Southwest. She is currently a Eucharistic Minister and has been a Eucharistic Visitor, Vestry member, School Board member, choir member, coordinator of adult religious education, and facilitator of Women on the Journey in her almost 40 years as member of Good Shepherd.
