The Easter post-resurrection texts are stories of the appearances of the Risen Christ among his disciples and others. The resurrection “promise” will be an inquiry to what happened and the meaning of it to the witnesses who were there. How can we make connections between the Easter gospels and the faith we profess every time we recite the Creed, “the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures?”
