Ciara Gallagher is an Austin based choral performer, director, and educator. She has experience directing choirs of all levels having taught elementary through high school choir and general music.
Ciara has performed in semi-professional ensembles and has experience singing at state and national conferences. Ensembles she has performed with include Austin Cantorum and the Texas State Chorale. She has also been a member of the Good Shepherd choir since 2013. Ciarais entering her 12th year of teaching, and currently serves as the choir director at Running Brushy Middle School in Leander ISD.
Ciara grew up in the DFW metroplex, and graduated from South Garland High School. She went on to attend Texas State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music in Music Studies. Ciara has so enjoyed her time in the Good Shepherd choir, and the community the church has offered her. She is so excited to take on the role of Children’s Choir Director.
