Whitney is a San Antonio native who was happy to return to Texas after serving as the Associate for Students and Outreach at Church of the Holy Comforter in Vienna, Virginia, and most recently as the Canon for Formation and Multicultural Ministry at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Phoenix, Arizona. She received degrees in History and Government at the University of Texas before receiving her Masters in Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary (she meant to go to law school, but found herself taking a rather life-changing detour). She has a faithful Boxador named Boo Radley, a perfect nephew, has hiked the Camino de Santiago, worked for the Irish Parliament, and once sang “The Gambler” to Kenny Rogers himself in a Mexico airport.
