In-person Procedures

Masks:
— We strongly encourage masks when indoors. Masks are required indoors for those who have not been vaccinated.

Please do not attend in person if:
— You are not feeling well

Modifications to our service:
— At communion we will receive only the bread. Our tradition teaches that receiving communion in one kind conveys the full benefits of the sacrament.

— We will suspend nursery care while Travis county is in stage 4 or 5 of its risk-based guidelines.

Prayed in the The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II, and supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live, acoustic band, The Hill’s worship includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

The Woodland campus worship also includes a brief children’s sermon, after which families may choose to allow their children to join appointed Youth for community-building time on the playground. Youth then lead participating children’s return to the sanctuary in time for Communion.

SPECIAL MUSIC

Service details

On the second Sunday of Program Year months (Labor Day through Memorial Day), the Good Shepherd Choir leads Choral Evensong for our 6:00 pm service. Evensong, a music-rich setting of Evening Prayer, is among our most traditionally Anglican liturgies, witnessing the Church’s ancient devotion of praying each day’s hours. At Good Shepherd, this service comprises choral anthems, plainsong chant, congregational hymnody, scripture readings, and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

HEALING SERVICE
Windsor, Sanctuary

Service details

This quiet, reflective service takes time to pray specifically for those whose names appear on our prayer lists - those who suffer in any way, our expectant mothers and newborn babies and their families, those who have died, and those serving in the armed forces. Anointing of the Sick is offered to those who so desire, and the liturgy concludes with Holy Communion.
