On the night before Jesus died, he and his disciples gathered for dinner, prayer, and foot washing. This event is the origin of the church’s practice of Communion. We believe that Jesus Christ is present in the gifts of bread and wine, and that this meal nourishes us, both in the body and the soul. On Maundy Thursday, we will gather in the Parish Hall for a potluck meal and service of Communion. Sign up to bring a dish using the form on the welcome table at the Hill.
After the service, an overnight Gethsemane watch begins.Click HERE for more information.
