Conversations with Parents, Youth & Children

The Hill Country flooding and tragic loss of life has impacted so many families and children in our parish, and we are planning times to help children and parents process these events. Tuesday, June 8, we will gather for a simple dinner at 6:00p in the Parish Life Center on the Windsor campus. From 6:30p to 7:30p, we will offer three group conversations: a group for elementary age children (ages 8 to 12); a group for youth (ages 13-19); and a group for parents and caregivers. Childcare will be available for young children (ages 7 and younger). You’re welcome to join us for the groups, even if you can’t be there for dinner.

Our goal is to provide a theological framework and mental health tools for processing these difficult events. These groups will be facilitated by mental health professionals and clergy.
