Esperanza Village Deck Build and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Join Good Shepherd at Esperanza Community — A Day of Service & Celebration on Saturday, October 4, 2025, located at 760 Bastrop Hwy SB, Austin, TX 78741
Driven by a mission to invite our unhoused neighbors into an engaged community, The Other Ones Foundation (TOOF) has been offering humanitarian aid, case management, and extremely low-barrier employment opportunities to people experiencing homelessness since 2018.
On October 4, Good Shepherd will partner with TOOF to help build decks at Esperanza Community, a supportive housing complex made up of four neighborhoods. Thanks to your generosity, Good Shepherd has raised nearly $400,000 to fund 50 completed tiny homes—and now we’ll be breaking ground on a brand-new neighborhood! RSVP requested so our cooks can prepare enough food for everyone.
