Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return. Ash Wednesday is the opening liturgy to the season of Lent, a period of spiritual discernment, study, and reconciliation with God and neighbor. Mark the day by attending a noonday Eucharist at the Hill with the marking of ashes and Holy Communion.
We come to this season with cluttered lives and conflicted hearts. On Ash Wednesday we begin to let go – learn to lay aside what weighs us down.
