Pentecost Sunday with Reading in Many Languages and Reception
May 24 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Pentecost is a principal feast day that emphasizes that the church is understood as the body of Christ which is drawn together and given life by the Holy Spirit. Some understand Pentecost to be the origin and sending out of the church into the world (episcopalchurch.org). We will celebrate the day by wearing red and reading the Acts passage in multiple languages. If you speak a language other than English and might be interested in reading, please contact the Rev. Leah Wise.
