Altar preparation for worship.
A simple service of readings begins this day of preparation and reflection on the great mysteries commemorated in these three holiest of days.
When you attend a Sunday morning service at Windsor, stop by the cross outside of the church to add flowers. Bring your own flowers from home or use those provided. The cross will become a visual symbol of new life for the greater community.
We pray our early morning celebration of the Holy Eucharist using The Book of Common Prayer’s Rite II. The 8:00a service includes a sermon and Holy Communion. This service does not include music, so there is ample opportunity for silence.
Nursery care is provided for our youngest members (under 3 years old) every Sunday during the 10:30a services on both campuses. Our second, primary service of mid-morning worship, Communion Café blends traditional, Episcopal worship and a relaxed, inclusive setting. Supported by the choral and musical leadership of a live, acoustic band, Communion Café includes readings from scripture; a sermon; prayers; congregational singing; and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
