Chris joined the Good Shepherd staff in August of 2016. As the Director of Music, he oversees and administers the entire music program at Good Shepherd, serving as the primary contact person for all matters musical. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Chris landed in Austin, Texas in 2005 to be closer to his in-laws. He attended the University of Manitoba, Canada for his undergraduate studies and later did graduate studies in Organ Performance and Church Music at the University of Kansas, Lawrence. Born in Canada to German immigrants, Chris and his wife, Christine have a 16-year old daughter, Kate. In his free time, Chris enjoys reading, travel, and vinyl-record collecting.
