In the ancient church, those who aspired to convert to the Christian faith were given catechesis, or theological instruction, often in the weeks leading up to Easter. We carry those instructions today through An Outline of the Faith found in the Book of Common Prayer. In this Lenten study, we will explore the traditional beliefs of the church and discuss how these beliefs influence our rites, liturgies, and lives.
