I am delighted to return to Good Shepherd, and to serve the people and clergy of the parish during a season of ministry. I came to Good Shepherd as a curate, fresh out of Seminary, in 1987 and thoroughly enjoyed my three plus years here. It was a wonderful launch into my ordained ministry, More recently, I retired from serving as rector of St. Luke’s on the Lake (Austin) in 2018, and previously served as rector of Christ Church, Tuscaloosa, (AL), and Christ Church, Temple (TX). After doing some interim work, we decided to return to the church where we were married, Mike was ordained priest, our oldest child baptized, Martha’s parents’ remains are interred in the columbarium, and more. We have been inspired by the worship and fed by the preaching when we are in the pews. What a joy for us to return where it all started!
