Having grown up in Indiana and Florida, Leah earned her B.A. in Religion from Florida State University and her M.Div. from Yale Divinity School, with a decade in between spent as a barista, sustainability writer, and charity shop manager in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was ordained in the Diocese of Virginia and began her ministry in the Diocese of Texas after completing seminary.
In her ministry, Leah particularly enjoys cultivating community across difference and empowering laypeople to fully embody their faith through accessible and joyful Christian education, worship, and fellowship.
Outside of the parish, Leah enjoys singing, taking nature walks, watching movies, reading science fiction, writing poetry, and hunting for treasures at thrift stores with her husband, Daniel. She has two cats, Sebastian and Wednesday.
