“…Jesus warns us that if we, living among weeds, busy ourselves only with the naming, and collecting, and counting of others’ failures, we will have little time to consider our own shortcomings and needs for God’s Grace. In such pursuits, the grain we have been called to bear will not be borne, and, in this way, the field will be lost. Further, if in confronting the fact-spinners and the truth-benders we prevaricate to bolster our own positions – even if our positions are righteous – then such prophesy is vain and vacant. Again, the field will be lost, for we who were good seed, will have borne only dust…”
